Leak tester for ultra-low volume sealed assemblies (FCO720)

An enhanced sensitivity leak tester designed for manufacturers who need to verify the integrity of ultra-low volume sealed components at production speed - where a single undetected leak can mean product failure, recall risk, or patient harm.

  • Capable of finding seal defects in ultra-low volume sealed devices.
  • Designed as an OEM unit for integration into high-volume production lines.
  • Remote comms allow result data to be collected by external systems.
  • Fully programmable test criteria to match your application requirements.
  • Minimal footprint for space efficiency on the line or in the test lab.

The FCO720 uses breakthrough differential pressure measurement technology to deliver reliable, repeatable results. It has been specifically developed for sealed components that are becoming increasingly miniaturised, particularly in industries such as medical device manufacturing, where traditional leak testing methods lack the sensitivity to keep pace.

How The FCO720 Works

Configure and Run

A single Start signal initiates the fully automated test cycle. The instrument charges its pre-fill volume to target pressure and shares it with the test circuit to fill the test chamber. Pressure is checked against nominal tolerance and any deviation is flagged immediately as a gross leak fail. A short stabilisation phase follows before the final test phase measures the fine leak rate against programmed limits.

Capture and Export

Once the test is complete, a Pass or Fail result is recorded alongside full test data, which is available for retrieval via remote comms. The instrument then returns to Standby and prepares for the next cycle automatically.
